Man flies into a rage after finding a pair of high heels in his bride-to-be’s room

Mother commits suicide because her son’s partner is too short

Lin X X, a 46-year-old, despised her son’s partner for being too short. Therefore, she jumped into the river as a suicide attempt, trying to use death as a threat against his choice of bride. The police arrived and dragged her corpse out of the water. Upon seeing his wife’s death, Lin X X’s husband (Gao X X) suffered from an emotional outburst and jumped into the river to die as well. Upon seeing his father jump into the river, Gao X X’s son jumped into the river to save his father. The police then jumped into the river to save the father and son.

This viral news was said to have been inaccurately spread as the mother dying because she found the betrothal gifts too expensive.
